Spotkanie z arabistą, Pawłem Łanoszką.
25 kwietnia 2016 r. mieliśmy zaszczyt gościć w naszej szkole, specjalistę od kultury krajów arabskich. Pan Paweł Łanoszka jest absolwentem uniwersytetu w Katarze, na który wyjechał dzięki stypendium ufundowanym przez szejka arabskiego. Przez 4 lata młody Krakowianin miał możliwość przyjrzenia się z bliska kulturze arabskiej i stąd czerpał swoje doświadczenia. Obecnie jest tłumaczem semantycznym języka arabskiego i prowadzi również spotkania dla szkół, jak i firm o różnicach kulturowych pomiędzy światem orientu a kulturą zachodnią. Spotkanie to okazało się o tyle cenne, że wreszcie konkretnie zostało odpowiedziane na nurtujące w obecnych czasach pytanie, a mianowicie, czy kraje arabskie są zagrożeniem dla współczesnych krajów tzw kultury zachodniej?
Odpowiedzi na pewno należy szukać w bardzo szerokim pojęciu czym tak naprawdę jest kultura. Jak się okazało „kultura” jest pojęciem niesamowicie szerokim i nie można go jednolicie zdefiniować. Tak naprawdę można spróbować wskazać elementy, które są elementami kultury. I to właśnie uświadomił prowadzący prelekcję, że wszystko zależy od wieku czynników, np. takich jak: terytorium, warunki klimatyczne, środowisko, bogactwa naturalne, wierzenia, sztuka, strój etc. Jednak my budując swój obraz o świecie arabskim opieramy swoją wiedzę na przekazie medialnym i niestety na stereotypach, które bardzo skrzywiają rzeczywistość. Prostym przykładem, aczkolwiek bardzo wymownym, który troszeczkę zaboli „zwykłego Kowalskiego” jest jak –my Polacy, jesteśmy stereotypowo postrzegani przez Niemców? No rzecz jasna „złodzieje” a czy uważamy się za naród złodziei? Dlaczego jest tak, że 1% „Polaków-złodziei” jest pryzmatem, przez który postrzegane jest 99% społeczeństwa polskiego.
Identycznie jest ze światem arabskim. Nasz stereotyp tamtych krajów to muzułmanin-terrorysta. A czy ktoś zadał sobie trud i poszukał informacji o religii Islamu? Czy islam w samym założeniu jest zły? Otóż wg p. Pawła błędem Islamu jest to, że Koran daje wszechstronną możliwość interpretacji każdemu, który się z nim zetknie. Jeśli trafi na ludzi, którzy próbują usprawiedliwić swoje złe postępowanie obietnicami Allacha, niestety spowoduje to reakcję w postaci zachowań nieakceptowanych w krajach demokratycznych. Różnice również pojawiają się w przekładach na różne języki. Język islamu w sensie koranicznym ma w sobie wiele sformułowań, które nie mogą zostać przetłumaczone dosłownie na języki narodowe. Dlatego można jedynie formułować podobne zdania, ale rzecz jasna nie będą one miały jednakowego brzmienia. Językiem koranicznym na co dzień w krajach arabskich posługują się tylko osoby wykształcone, większość ludzi posługuje się dialektami, które różnią się między sobą, chociażby ze względu na pozostałości z czasów tzw. „kolonialnych”
Jednym z bardziej nurtujących zagadnień było postrzeganie kobiety w tamtych krajach. Po pierwsze arabista wyjaśnił, że kraje arabskie to te, które są związane kulturowo z Arabią Saudyjską, Kuwejtem, Katarem, czyli „Bliskim Wschodem”. Jest to na tyle istotne, ze w tych krajach kobieta ma więcej praw niż to się wydaje. Kobieta rządzi domem, mężczyzna musi się jej podporządkować. Poza domem mąż pokazuje, ze to on bierze odpowiedzialność za kobietę, która mu się podporządkowuje. Kobiety mogą wychodzić za mąż dopiero po ukończeniu 16 roku życia za zgodą rodziców. Inaczej te kwestie są postrzegane w krajach tzw Zakałkazia. Państwa takie jak Pakistan, Afganistan czy Syria niezbyt stosują się do ogólnie pojętych zasad w świecie arabskim. I niestety zasłyszane historie o małżeństwach 3 letniego dziecka w 50 latkiem mają miejsce. Właśnie te procedery są właśnie pryzmatem, przez który większość ludzi „zachodu” buduje swoją nieprawdziwą opinie o kulturze arabskiej.
Ciekawą kwestią jest wielożeństwo. Po pierwsze w krajach arabskich zawarcie małżeństwa nie jest sakramentem tak jak np. w religii chrześcijańskiej, jest bowiem czynnością cywilno-prawną i może być zawierane na pewien okres czasu. Po jego upływie „kontrakt” wygasa i można legalnie zawrzeć ponowny związek małżeński. Jeśli mężczyznę stać może mieć kilka żon, metres, jednak każdej z nich musi udostępnić taki sam standard życia. Przykładem był tutaj samochód. Jeśli jedna dostała porsche, to druga i kolejne nie mogą jeździć np. fiatem.
Błędny jest również stereotyp, ze kobiety arabskie nie mają ambicji i brak im wiedzy. Okazuje się, że np. w Arabii Saudyjskiej 73% kobiet ma wyższe wykształcenie… ale nie mogą wg prawa prowadzić samochodu. Konkluzja: Jak porsche – to z kierowcą J
Podczas spotkania poruszono wiele innych kwestii np. Jak wygląda podryw wśród młodych?, czy kobieta może odmówić wyjścia za mąż?, czy dochodzi w świecie arabskim do rozwodów? Na te i inne pytania pan Paweł odpowiadał bardzo dogłębnie posługując się fachową wiedzą. Na samym końcu spotkania dodał, że Polacy w krajach arabskich są bardzo cenieni jako inżynierowie i specjaliści od zarządzania. Zachęcał do nauki, bo np. często zdarza się, ze można dostać pracę, gdzie zarobki będą sięgać od 50 tys. w górę plus darmowe mieszkanie dla rodziny i pełne zaplecze socjalne. Sam przekonał się o tym będąc tłumaczem w spotkaniach biznesowych w firmach z ogromnym kapitałem. Idąc tym tropem podjął decyzję o studiach MBA.
